A small, hand-curated map of places in Bangalore we would actually send a friend to. It is free and meant for personal use. It is not a directory, a review platform, or a booking service.

Every pick is a subjective editorial judgement. Hours, prices, menus, and whether a place is still open all change constantly, and our write-ups will sometimes be out of date or simply wrong. Check before you cross town.

Signing in is optional and unlocks saving places and the weekly new-places email, which you can stop from any email or from the account panel. You are responsible for the security of the Google account you sign in with. We may remove accounts that abuse the site.

Anyone can suggest a place. By submitting one you give us permission to publish, edit, or ignore it. Only submit words you wrote yourself. Most submissions do not make it onto the map, and we cannot promise a reply.

The writing, photography, and curation on BLR CUTS belong to us. Place names, logos, and trademarks belong to their owners. Map data comes from OpenStreetMap contributors via OpenFreeMap and is used under their licence.

Place cards link out to Google Maps and elsewhere. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for them.

BLR CUTS is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for what follows from using it — a closed restaurant, a disappointing meal, a wasted trip. Use your own judgement.
